What kind of flooring will increase the value of my home?

New flooring PERIOD will increase the value of your home! We recommend luxury vinyl plank vs tile (LVT), hardwood or ceramic tile, but LVT will give you the biggest bang for you buck.

What is a good type of waterproof flooring?

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is the most popular waterproof flooring. Other waterproof flooring includes Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) and tile.

When considering hardwood flooring, what are some things to consider?

It’s important to know that true hardwood floor needs to have the humidity in the home at a certain level. If not, you run the risk of swelling or shrinking. Engineered hardwood does not have this concern.

What is engineered hardwood?

Engineered hardwood is layers of wood, better known as plywood.  It is finished exactly the same as true hardwood but comes with a cheaper price tag.

What is the difference between vinyl and laminate?

While vinyl is composed of sheets of plastic (acrylic, PVC, and other synthetic polymers) pressed together, laminate is made up of multiple layers that include a particleboard center, a high-resolution image, and a clear, protective top sheet.

How difficult is it to install your own flooring?

Installation all depends on the flooring you choose. Typically, flooring has a click and lock installation feature, so the average homeowner can install on their own.
